I was thinking about doing that but I was going to try to keep it "stock-looking" --minus the pale yellow color so I am undecided on that right now.

    Input?

Definitely take them off. It looks sooo much cleaner and since the yellow is going to be different (and much better) its already far from stock looking for those who know.

You could also do this. Take them off, paint everything including the molding but while its off the car. This way if you want to put them back on just use 3M double sided tape and everything will be fine. This is how it was done from the factory anyway. Body was painted before the molding was put on.

Well after some time away from the car, I got back into it and found my k member is junk. Got the polyurethane motor mounts in and now the trans won't line up right....did some looking around and found where the k member is bent. The previous owner "put a new one in," but by the looks of it, it was off a junk yard car that was wrecked itself. So now on the hunt for a k-member (from a non-salvage car). I don't know what they run at the dealer, but I was thinking of holding out for a tubular k member (about $500). Not sure yet.

Just to update, I got a used K-member off ebay for $150. Nice and straight, no rust. In the process of sandblasting and painting it. The build is goin real slow right now since I have no spare time to speak of. Currently I'm also prepping the engine compartment for paint. I recently came across an article on the Z15 Thats got to be one, if not THE best T/A ever.

    It's HOT but...

I personally think the CETA is better on attributes only. The Supercharger would be nice! Keep it REAL... Good Luck!
