hey sorry to steal this thread but they wont let me post this question something bout a url .... anyway can some tell me if the cat on the driver side on has one o2 bung on the assembly and the passenger side has 2 o2 bungs? also where is the other driver side bung located? i have to buy two new cats (pass and driv) but idk if these are correct bc of the driver cat looks like it only has one bung.. the link is autoanything >2000 firebird >magnaflow 49 state legal converters> price starting from 103.16> select submodel 5.7l> select style> there you will see the two options for the cats.

Should only be one downstream O2 for either side. Sounds like you may be looking at a generic converter, without looking at the autoanything site. I don't remember for sure which side the O2 is on, inboard or outboard, I lost my cats a long time ago, but I think the drivers side had the O2 sensor inboard.

Walker replacement part numbers are 53437 for the right side and 53269 for the left side. Walker is as close to OEM as you are going to find in exhaust parts. The right side seems to cost significantly more than the left and shows a bung before and after the cat.
