    Car stuff done

A bit late, but I couldn't start a new thread until recently due to some kinda Comcast thing that nobody can figure out.

Anyway, post 'em up! Mine so far, and I started this list last fall/early winter:

    1) Finally fix my jacked-up RF fender and bumper, get those repainted (Done!)

    2) Replace my broken baffled muffler with a Hooker Aerochamber and put on some dual, slant-cut stainless steel 1970 GTO replica tips. (Done!)

    3) Finally get a mail order "Tuned by Frost", going to get that done April 19th or so. It will be nice to lose the Check Engine light.

Not very significant to most but the silver on my calipers, rotor hubs and side vents was killing me.
Finally got that painted and built some DIY car ramps in the process.

    AFTER

New duralast battery, I picked that one 'cause its yellow and black, haha. Also cleaned out my engine bay to get ready for the cruise nights....

Tomorrow I'll have a shop come to my house and install my Daytona pace car decals, can't wait.

I like how you chose the Duralast battery to keep the color scheme consistent.

Yeah, when you look at it in person the yellow is a bit off but it looks better than most anything else out there.
Looking at it now makes me really want to do the wire mod but I don't want to cut a whole in my car...

Most noticeable change is he painted the brake calipers black as well as the air extractor screens.

Hey lopedawg, why were your air extractor screens silver? (instead of original black).

I agree with you about the brake calipers, had to re-paint mine too, they were originally black but original paint came off within the first 5000 miles.

I think the black paint makes it look much cleaner

I got my LCAs and Panhard bar installed this weekend

Previous owner painted the screens silver for some reason.

That's what I had from previous owner but it died this winter, duralast was only ~$90 or $95, not too bad I think.

Right, the screens, brake calipers, and rotors were silver and I wanted to go back to stock.

Yeah, it had been bugging me since last year. I can't stop looking at it now.

Looks good but I would stop putting those wheel weights on the rim and get the tack ones for the wheel well. I have seen the way some people pry and and hammer those on

Thanks, would I do that when the car goes in for oil and tire rotation? Do these even get rotated since they are directional tires? Sorry neewbie here.

Sure will. I don't think I'll be able to go to bed just thinking about it. I'm like a kid on the night before Christmas.

Don't worry about it now just next time you get tires then tell them use the weights w/ the tack.
