Car sounds like crap part 2

Ok for those who don't know, i got Pacesetter headers and ory put on with my current exhaust which was to dynomax bullets, one before each tip, anyways it rattled really bad and i think it sounds like crap. The shop i got it done at is 50 min away, so i dropped it off at a MR. Muffler by me to have them look at it. They said its my headers are hitting something too, not just my ory. ANyone have all these problems? Also what kind of cat back should i get? I like it loud, but i don't want to much rasp. I like clean deep and loud. What should i get? Thanks for all the help.

maybe its hitting the k-member have them tighten up everything..thats the only thing i could think of sorry if its no help

I have the MAC headers high flow cats and the SLP Loudmouth 2 exhaust. Sorry but once I put my foot down there is not a better sound. I get compliments on it all the time. But I also have a cam so it prolly helps the sound. Good luck hope ya get it fixed.

check out thunderracing and under their exhaust section, they make a bumpstop for the Y pipe. It's about $50 I believe

I had the same EXACT problem with my Pacesetters! Drove me NUTS! I gave up and got the MAC mid-lenths and catted Y pipe with my Loudmouth it sounds fucking GREAT! Idle is just a mildly low rumble but when I get on it, it screams!

have the shop heat up the y pipe along with that bump stop thing. it will work like a charm
