You could try eBay and order a replacement cat and take it to an exhaust shop to be welded in.

You should install longtube headers, off road y pipe, and get send the computer out for a mail order tune. While you're installing the LTs and ORY, you can replace the plugs and plug wires.

what side converter do you need? I have the stock y-pipe and cats.

trying to read what you wrote gave me a headache, there is no need for ALL CAPS.
take the car to autozone to get the codes checked, if it says something about one of your O2 sensors the cat is bad and it just needs to be replaced. you can also take the cats out and have your pcm edited to get rid of the check engine light.

I would second some lt's and a off road or high flow catted y-pipe. If you wanna go a cheaper route rather than replacing it with some cheap cats I think the high flow catted and off road y- pipes for the short tube headers will bolt up to the stock manifolds.

IF you want noise than
lt's with an ory will give you that even high flow cats act as resonators and quiet the exhaust.

where do you get your emmisions checked at? i heard midlothian emissions center only does the OBD test or whatever. meaning if you get a tune after lts and ory you should be good.

Off Road Y-pipe which means a y-pipe without cat converters.

It looks like your past the warranty period for cats, so it's either hfc or off road Y like everyone else suggested. If emissions arent a big deal, I'd go for the offroad as I lost ground clearance with LT + HFC.

ya has ido a un Autozone para que te checken que codigo tienes en la computadora? Porque pude ser que el sensor del oxigeno sea lo que esta mal y no el catalizador. Y te sale mas barato que poner un catalizador.
English: Have you gone to an Autozone to get your codes read. Cause you could just have a bad O2 and not a cat problem and it would be cheaper to fix than replacing a CAT.

long tubes if you are goign to invest do it in long tubes, some cars do better with shorties but our ls1's in my opinion work better with longs, and no cats on the y, it will sound nice as well..
