Camaro shifter knob

Has any one, or can it be done.
I was wondering if it is possibly to change out the shifter knob unit on and auto for one that the Camaros have.

I just personally like the look of them better.

I think he's wanting to put the camaro shift know on his formula. I don't know from experience but my guess is the shifter is the same so either knob should work. I could be wrong.

Do you already have the camaro shift knob?

No I don't have one yet, but I have looked online, and the new ones on the Camaro look just like the one in my 1988 Iroc I have taken that apart before. I was wondering if the mechanics are the same in them. As you know ones a side shifter button and the other you push straight down.

Well if I remember correctly from my first firebird (which had a side button) with the shift knob removed it was still a top down button like the camaro. You can always take yours off to check
