    I hear you -- amazing how much stuff has gone up in the last 20 years. We painted the hood and front bumper on ours last fall. Luckily, my brother-in-law has a bodyshop and does great work.

    today not much progress but i did do the wire mod on the passenger side fender well.looks much much cleaner.maybe tomorrow i will get somethin dun !

    so i hid the wires on both sides of the engine bay.almost ready to shoot the whole car.check out how clean the engine bay is without all the cables and wiring.also the rear roof panel is ready as well.oh ya the friggin paint is out of control.a buddy hooked me up and i got the paint and hardner,reducer,clear for the low low price of $ 805.00 !!!

    wow got some kind of 72 hour bug but im all better.should throw some paint on her monday maybe be done by tue or wed.i will update with some pix.

    man im such a slacker here we are its wed and still no paint on the car,oh except under the hood.next time i want to paint a car someone please punch me in the mouth !!!

    maybe by saturday it will be done.

    ok car, fenders and front tag are done,tomorrow i will paint all the rest of her and then wed assemble her.here are a few shots.using my blackberry for the pictures so they arent the best quality.

    I'd guess yer not gonna have good luck with the B-pillar.
    It's been stated over & over agian that the only 'real' fix is to remove the panel & replace it with new glue. It may very well 'out-gas' again.

    Are you going back to the same color? Or something a bit different & new?!?

    hes going SOM again, and if it stays in the shade it'll be fine, mines been garaged or covered its whole like and still have no sign of glue seepage

    did the best i could prepping the rear panel,just dont have the 5 or 6 hundred now so it will have to do.if i get a year or 2 out of it thats fine i will replace it then.ya the paint is the same as b4 just fresh and shiny.

    im having seperation anxietys from the car,my son will be home with it today from college,its funny after working on it for 5 weeks straight i started to really hate it.anyway i cant wait to see her today .
