Buying a 01 T/A WS6

I am new to these, not cars though. It seems to me that it might be very easy to clone WS6s. The VIN decoders I have used does not indicate WS6. How does one tell if it is a true WS6??

Sticker on driverside door.. Should have SLP Sticker. You can also call SLP and try to obtain a birth certificate...

^^^I think SLP did the Firehawks, not the WS6s.
Open the drivers door and look for this sticker. It should say WS6 on it. Also you can post your VIN number and I can look it up on GMVIS (a GM database).

i'd say so but guys usually say it's a WS.7 instead of a WS.6. it's not very hard all you really have to do is put the ram air hood on and it looks like a WS.6 and you can say you took the badges off.

That is what I thought, even the badges are easy to find. I just asked the seller if WS6 is on the service parts id sticker.

if its an 01/02 its more than likely a WS6, there were more made in those years than not. check the driver door as said above^

The seller just sent me a pic of the sticker, WS6 is on there. Not that I needed that after confirmation by Cutlass.
