In my case it was my aftermarket Traclink. It has a grease fitting I forgot to put grease in for about a year. Just loaded it up with grease and it quit banging around. ;-)

I have a loud bump under my arse and around the middle of the car. Drives me nuts. Got under ther and shook everything, all seems very tight. Any time I hit a bump I feel it hard. Any clue. Drives me crazy. I have SLP LT hi-flow cats and cat back if that matters.

Does your car shift hard? If so does it do it when your getting in it and it shifts?

Definitely does not do it when It shifts. Even if I go over a very mild bump it shoulds like something is shaking side to side and rattling hard. If I hit a bump I can feel it under the middle of the car. I have welded on SFC's also.

    My guess is exhaust somehow.
When I would stand in my car from a dead stop, when it shift it sounded like somthing under the car would knock so hard it would shake the middle concolse, it was the tranny.haha

For that price and time definitely worth a try. Will I need a lift to do this? Any clue on location not really sure exactly where they are. On top of the tranny, sides?

you'll need atleast 2 jackstands to get under the car, then a floor jack to support the tranny, as you'll undue the cross member that supports it to replace the mount. see the circled area below:

    Click for full size

there are three kinds of mounts you can get, soft, medium hard and very hard...i don't recall the names of the different ones, someone else might be able to?
