    broken part...

My passenger seat wouldn't slide forward or back.

I looked underneath the seat, found that a small metal wire that connects the lever to the lock release was broken. (sorry if confusing)

Went to GM dealer-- part was $5.xx.

It should be a quick and painless install..

I just wanted to see if anyone else ever had this problem?

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

bought mine like that-passenger side. It was annoying for them, and it took me abotu 3 weeks get it, but i did. You'll have to remove the seat to have the easiest access.

yeah the loop is just bent out on my 98 bird and i cant get it to bend back enough to stay connected. . . i agree with tss, removing the seat would give you easy access and allow you to install properly
