I don't plan on doing a larger intake till I get the new motor built next year. The LS6 is enough for a bolt on cam car. I think its 2000 and newer have a LS6 but you can get them used and cheaper than a BBK
Some new pics of the WS6 :)
Looks like he has an ls-1 manifold, that means ls-6 manifold as another upgrade.

Didn't see that pic before. teah I would definately look for a used LS6 intake. That's weird though I though it was 00 or 01 and newer that came with the LS6.

Things like underdrive pulley help spin the motor faster, but I would leave that for when you do the cam swap since your face is going to be right in there and all the shit in the way is going to be out. Same w/ water pump it free's up the motor but for the money it takes it would be cheaper to mill stock heads (go buy new head bolts, and gaskets included) and you still would get more hp.

For him porting the throttle body would be a better option, and though debatable if he gets a tune pop out the maf screen (It's debatable I know, and I would not do it unless it was before a tune).
Actually I have an A4 with 3.73's. I am not doing heads till I do the foged 383 stroker motor next year. For now just a reverse split cam my buddy had at his shop a TCI 3000 stall. If it needs more after that a 125 shot. I am planning a 6spd swap in oct or nov but I looking to sell my Trailb lazer for a SRT10 pickup or another regular cab hemi to hall body parts for my shop.

    My Mod Order.

I started with a Volant CAI and a weld in Flowmaster(I liked the sound). Then the LS6 intake, tune up, 160 stat, and ASP pulleys. Got the porting kit to descreen the MAF.
Next was a set of used hooker long tubes(didn't like the egr plates and surface rust, flowmaster got raspy).car was detonating at high RPM also.
So I started over with QTP race headers and ORY. Then SLP Power Flo and added Corsa Clone tips. I swapped in a granetelli MAF. Got the dyno tune and we learned the fuel pump was almost dead. Added a Walbro 255L. 339Rwhp
Then I installed the P&P TB. had it dyno'd again and hit 343 almost 344.
Last I just tossed the 3.23's for 3.73's(should have done this when I trashed the factory 3.23's). The shop didn't set it right and I hit rev limiter in 2-3 shift at WOT. had a buddy who owns a shop fix it and retune all trans shift settings and raise the shift to 6k in all gear at WOT, raise the timing a couple and trimed the A/F(original tune was too rich). Now it should hit around 350 when I dyno it again with the new tune. The 1-2 shift send the car sideways with the 275/35 18 without any trouble at all.
Working on the springs, shocks, sway bars now.

With my mods and tune you would have more RWHP on a dyno since 6spds lose less power from the crank to the wheels.

The pulley just isnt for increased power, its also to help get you into the power band faster.

That holds moisture in, helps w/ heat but your car doesn't need it

And op look at your heads and see if they say 853 or 241. 853 are 00-98 and 241 are 01-04. Sounds like your car used to be modded.
