Mine did the same thing a couple years back. I replaced the front rotors and put on new Hawk pads and the problem went away.

I go so far as to use a torque wrench to tighten my lug nuts. My wife used to own a n olds alero and the front rotors had a real thin center web area that would warp with un even lug nut torque.

start off with the front rotors. They will cause most of the pulsating.

it might not be the rotors dont jump too far ahead when your car has been parked for a while take a feel of your pads and see how much you have left. You might just be able to resurface your rotors. My friends mustang did the same thing and when he took the brakes apart the rotors seem fine so he slapped on new pads and the problem went away. Next brake service i will be replacing rotors but more for the look than anything else.

Stock F-body rotors just suck. They are not worth being resurfaced.
