The bottom half of the SSRA was ripped off and destroyed a while ago, I made a larger, wider opening at the hangar but it wont stay on and I'm tired of messing with the mounting screws. Plus I have a WS6 hood on my car and would like to make it functional. I can still make it work with the stock TA air box but would eventually like to get a hold of a WS6 one. This JAAM kit is what I'm looking for and it looks like something that I could make myself out of the scrap pile from the airframe shop. But if I could fab up the SSRA box to somehow mate up to the air box I might be on to something. I could probably drill a few drain holes to help get rid of any excess water. Any thoughts or suggestions people???????

I use a Volant air box on mine. I think that would be easier(and make more power) then trying to hack up a lid. Plus you wouldn't drown the engine the first time you drive in the rain
