Bought a blower!

I cannot wait to put this on... Sadly I kind bought the cart before the horse; I will be getting a crate motor built for boost and a Dana S60 in the next few months so I have to be content with looking at it's shininess in the garage for a little bit. It's a vortech V3; I am ordering the mount kit for it next week (It came off an LS1 vette so I need some special brackets) but I got a good deal on it so I'm happy. Sending it off next week to vortech to get it gone through and warrantied. I'll post a build thread when I get evrything together. Me and a buddy are gonna do the work. I was gonna get a Vette, but Screw it; the TA is mine(no payment) and I love it so Im gonna build the shit out of it!!!

I wish I had decided to do this before the heads and cam; I went with a non boost friendly cam so Im just going to sell the longblock in the car now and get a forged crate motor from Texas speed.

The only reason I have all this money to play with is my wife is deployed to Africa. We made a deal; she gets a G8GT and I get a Blown TA.

Thats great man, I'm sure you did all your homework with the engine swape and all. But will the trany be able to handle all this extra power?

Trans is a tick performance level two so should be good to go

Damn glad I found the thread man, what block are you going with? And I am glad you finally come to your senses about the whole corvette/Trans am deal lol. You will have a t/a that will be blowing c6's off the road now.

I havent decided on the block yet, but I am leaning towards a Forged 370 CID
