    Bottle positioning

    Well i drive a 95' firebird
for my car its appearance over performance

I have a nitrous bottle empty that i want to mount someplace in my car where it will be safe for other riders.

    any suggestions?
    its a 10lb bottle
NOS brand with the Hi-Flo valve

I was thinking in between the 2 back seats laying down but the bottle is about 2 inches to long for that unless i can somehow make custom brackets. " i dont know how to do that "
I also have a mounted sub right under the back hatch so that spot is out of the question and also i cannot have it standing up in between the 2 back seats.

Also im wanting it to be very visible

thanks everybody for any kind of response

    so any ideas?

the piece right between the dip for the t-top storage and the back seats. You could really show off and mount two of the angled toward the middle of the back seat up there. But if you want a bottle mounted in a very visible place i would make sure you can put up before someone makes you shut up

If you're not to good @ fab work, maybe have someone reenforce the trunk flap that covers the pit. With say a square tubular steel frame and better hinges. Then mount the bottle on the bottom of it. Depending on the dia. of your bottle of course. Some high pressure flexible hose and then you would (in theory) be able to lift it out of your way when you put your T's in the pit. This would show off your bottle anytime you want and conseal it when you park somewhere you'll be leaving it unattended..

you might wanna check your laws to before you have a bottle hanging out. Just because its not hooked up doesnt mean they wont get on your case about it

alright, checked the laws and they dont really look like i cant have it as long as it is mounted and labeled. altho on my part i still cannot find a spot to put it. i cant make custom brackets because i dont know how. and i cant put it in the back because i have a huge sub back there and the big hole in the back ill need to put stuff like groceries and stuff

do you know anybody who can make brackets?
