yeah i hate the look of the intercooled tips... i really like the regular circular chrome tips, but if i wanted to replace them it'd be about 188 each, so im hoping they'll grow on me......

What I don't understand is that 6 years ago I bought my Borla cat-back for $600 shipped from a vendor that I'm not going to mention because they may not be a sponsor here. You mean to tell me that the price when up THAT much?

Hell, I'd look at another Mufflex 4" exhaust w/ a Spintech Muffler. I loved that system.

I'm gonna have to disagree with a few things here. 1st SLP does not ship any car with a LOUDMOUTH on the car. They do switch the stock exhaust to an SLP exhaust, but it's not the LM.

2nd I think the LM is a great sounding exhaust I have it on my A4 and I don't think nor has anyone ever told me it sounds raspy?? The best thing is that if you want it loud you just give it some gas and it's loud, if you drive normal it's just a bit louder then stock. The borla if you have the wrong plate in it's not gonna get real loud.

well lots of people said if ur gonna be on stock manifolds go LM, but if ur gonna add headers go borla. By the way if ur gonna shell out the $ for borla id suggest u look at GMMG. IMO LT's-cats-mufflers+LM=PERFECT. I love the way the LM and LT's sound. Add a cam and u gotta car that sounds just like one from the 60's n 70's w/ all the power to back it up. Few kids at my school had em both on T/A. Headers wooda been my 2nd mod if it werent for my neighbors. But i will agree it is LOUD. A kid down the street from me had LM and LT's on his WS6 and when he went up my street i could hear him LOUD AND CLEAR. Im sure the cops loved it to.

yeah so i really wanted a borla... i think they are the best sounding exhaust system out there.... but i realized i really dont have the money. so im gonna have to stick with a LM for now, that extra money can go towards a lot of other mods. and speakers! mine are gay >.< but once i get outta high school i will have a while to work and pay off the rest of my car, then hopefully i will have about 5-8k before i go to college, so i could probably invest in a borla then =)

You want smooth and you are going with the Loudmouth??

I drank a bit tonight, but I still know the Magnaflow sounds better than the Loudmouth.
Even better once you start modding past just the catback.
    But it is your money.
If you plan on modding the exhaust past just a catback...don't go Loudmouth.

    Okay.
So you plan on spending the money for a catback right now?? And then later upgrading to the Borla?

Why waste the $400+ right now?? Keep saving up to get the one you want.

If I was doing a y-pipe set-up....it would be Magnaflow. But I am WAY past stock.

If possible get the borla you don't want to pay for an exhaust twice. That would suck. Save the money get the borla. I have it and love it. And I didn't like the tips either till I had them on there and now I wouldn't trade them for anything else. just my .02

yeah i could do that.. but im impatient and i want it now! lol i will probably keep the LM for a couple years, cuz now i think about it, i'll need all the money i can get in college. i dont wanna be poor, or have to work all the time.
