I am looking at doing the front from wings west and the sides and back from Visage. Anyone have any experience ordering from KGS Engineering? http://www.kgsengineering.com/

Yes, the gears made a noticable difference. The first thing I did after I got my TA, I bought the hood, then got rid of the 2.73 gears. After that, stall and headers, felt like a whole new car. Added a set of Nitto dr's, and went from a 14.7 to a 13.4 at a track at 4500 ft. elev. Should have went stall and gears at the same time.

That kit is my absolute favorite and going on my ride as soon as I get the cash and find a body shop that can do it right (most either wont do it cuz of difficulty or suck). Get yourself either that kit or the one from www.wingswest.com and go for it bro. Both those kits follow the original body lines and look killer.
oh shit another apperance mod thread that has turned to bashing..to each his own..um kits dont lower the stance they just make it appear lower ..springs/shocks or coil overs do...honestly i could car less what you do with your cars. but alot of people have asked me about body kits for their f-bods (alot of v6s around here) becuase they want a more agressive stance and look..so i tell them get new lowering springs or coilovers and then think about the body kits ...guess what not one person got a body kit after they say their car lowered.

    Conflict Resolution

This argument is always a good one, especially for me since I used to be "On the fence" and just couldnt decide.
After lookin at enough pics of the WS6 with the West Wings Kit properly installed -I had to stop denying the improved "aggressive" look that it provides. I know the F-bods look GREAT when lowered a inch or two, but the front view of a WS6 with the West Wing kit is simply undeniable. To me it looks stock -the way it should have come from the friggin factory-like an absolute "BEAST".
The visage kit I agree is "slightly" off. I considered that kit for awhile before noticing the contour line differences between the kit and the TA body style. I am still not sure if I wanna install th side skirt and rear West wing pieces but the front fascia is a "must" in my opinion.

Anyone ever seen the Transformula? Hes on Fquick, one of my friends. Hes got the Wings West kit and it looks really sharp, even with his formula front end. I definately dont agree with the Visage, doesnt follow the lines of the car. But, if thats ur choice then so be it.

I like both of the kits. Each has its pros and cons. Personally, i'd use pieces of each kit. I like the Vizage front end and the Wings West side skirts. Only thing I hate about body kits is the fit, they never hardly fit right. I'm debating on whether or not to wait and have one custom made. That will set you back about 5-6k though.

For 5-6k you build a stroker motor and have way more fun, you look cooler when you win races.

Yeah but i'm not installing a kit just yet. A Body kit is definately not at the top of my list, if your car is all decked out, with rims, body kit, chrome vents, etc and you aint got the speed to back it up, its worthless. Why look super fast and not be able to back it up? I'm getting a full suspension system and bolt-ons for my engine before I get any visual mods other than some rims and re-tinting my windows.

amen to that. I don't know how many cars I've pullled for lengths or more that looked 'fast' with stripes and all that BS.
