I think that is the minimum for an F-Body owner.

I swore off of ramps after my rearend fiasco. I have 2 sets that will never be used again. I've been meaning to take some pictures and see what you guys think on here but I'm pretty sure I semi-screwed the car up good. I had the fronts on ramps and the backs on stands and when I took the driveshaft off or last LCA or whatever it was I took off last it let the rear pivot and when it did the car rolled back and came within mm's of coming off the ramps. I had to pull my truck up against the back end to hold it on the ramps while I put some stands up there. The problem is when it rolled back it tipped the back stands on their edges and one side put a crease in the rear subframe. Pretty bad too. I'll snap some pics this winter when I have it on stands and let you check them out. Not sure what it'll take to fix it but it doesn't look good that's for sure. Stupid mistake on my part and almost ruined the car. You would've had to be here to fully understand how close it was to coming off the ramps and onto the backend where the rear was just sitting on stands. I was almost in tears trying to figure out how to get it down. Everytime I touched the car it would start creaking and inching backward a little more. Finally came up with the truck idea and saved the car.

Glad to hear it wasn't worse.
I used 3 different ways to keep my car still when I did the rearend. Engaged the linelock, chucked both front wheels.

Get that pic...we can take a look. I have some nasty gashes on my rear subframes. Looks like the car was towed at some point, and they hooked it on the wrong spot.

I went out and snapped a quick pic of it while I was thinking about it. Not enough to ruin the car I don't think but definitely creased the subframe a little bit.

    I'd say.
    Should be okay though.
You beat on it at the track? Ever plan on wrecking it??

no to both. I take it to the track once a year or so. That dark spot is kinda misleading. That's not where it's bent, it's black overspray. Here's a closer shot to show the overspray. It's really only a couple inches long and not real deep but deeper than stock.

I can't see that creating any problems.
Probably a hair weaker...but it doesn't sound like you abuse it to the point it would matter.

I think I may have seen that in person.

Or did I take that footage for you? I can't remember.

And I will no longer be posting pics in this thread.

Man...that set-up seems to work really well together.
Pushing the limits, but a good tune can save you.
