It would have been way to expensive for me to build my red bird to do everything I wanted. Freight is brutally expensive up here. So I just bought the black car and shipped it up. The car plus shipping cost me half as much as building my red car would have.

    Ok.....
I will bite. You are in Alaska. It is December.
It hasn't snowed here yet but the damn track has been closed for 2 months.
Curious how much seat time you have in it since you picked it up....

x2 Dragonbird2 turned out nice. I think I want to get a first or second gen bird next or an ss trailblazer.

That was from sept 5 our last day of racing for the season. Just before I blew the hood off at the top end.

Seat time. I flew down to seattle to drive it for the first time on May 10, (60 miles), then from my parents house to the port on the 11th was 80miles (got 18.8mpg using only a 1/4 tank of gas). Got it home on May 13. So I've put 600-700 miles this summer. I ran it up until the end of September. No heater in it so I was freezing that night, about 36 degrees out. Oh and my street setup is my track set up other then tire pressure. I run 90 pump gas in it and 109vp in the dedicated cell for the nitrous. That vid was only the pig rich 150shot.
I put less on my red bird. I think I put 300-400 on it. Which I drove until Oct24.
Right now there nice and warm in my heated garage. Since I do have a bit of snow.

Your car always looks good, and is the reason I want to get TT2's for the red bird. It looks like your left taillight is darker then the right? Mine was like that and I replaced both of them with some clean used ones

Just the way the sun was hitting it. That set of pictures was terrible...sun was beating on it pretty bad.
Think I may have actually sold it today....but nothing is ever set in stone until it is gone.

Would love to make a pass in a car like that at some point. Probably won't ever get too though, too much other stuff going on these days.

It's a rush, and it's got alot more in it. We'll see how it does this coming summer. I hope to run some 9.50's before the end of the summer.
The suspension is almost dialed in. Watching that vid I have a couple more adjustments to make.

I'm glad to see other cars that dare to be different then what every else does. I have the flames on my red bird, an extreme street/strip build on the black bird. You have airbrushing on your bird. When alot of people don't like any kind of paintwork on these cars (shown by the low cotm votes) and Luos has TT2 rims.
