The main reason why they have a Mustang is because they manufacture Mustangs like Messerschmitts. Would cost to much for the movie makers to find T/As or Camaros for the show.

Dukes of Hazard went through I think 60 Dodge Chargers just for the series. Just my thoughts.

They went with ford because Ford gave up the most money to get the deal done. and in todays product placement world, they wanted a car that they actually make to sell. So no trans am's..... They first wanted the new camaro but transformers got it first. GM actually diden't want anything to do with knight rider after the stuff they went through with knight rider in the 80's.

Go ahead and watch knight rider, I think it's gonna be pretty cool but 1 long ford commercial at the same time.

Its just another way GM pisses me off. I mean they have made Mustang for years and they aren't stopping. I understand the TA and camaro's weren't selling well, shit just make 20,000 less then you normally make. Don't cancel the legend. I hate Ford products(except for trucks) but atleast they know how to treat customers.
All this crap about testing and research... please. I'm not asking for a rebadged Camaro, but we put men on the moon in the 60's. Can't fucking car makers design a god damn car and sell the public wtf they want.

what kills me is they cant use the 82 again but can use a car restyle as a 60s car.im a huge fan of all t/as and knight rider but the new sucks,i call it the ford show espicially the pilot.as ive told other people we should remake bullet with the new camaro and see how mustang fans like that lol,and they advertise the new kitt as the kr shelby which they are using gts made up as shelbys lol they auctioned those 2 used for the pilot a few weeks ago,mustangs are like tampoons every pu$$y has one
