lol im a fan of my kooks 1 7/8, with dual cutouts, but for mufler, i like hooker and magnaflow both make great products, its nice to be able to have wide open or somewhat tamed

I loved the Magnaflows on my GN but wanted something more obnoxious for the TA, hence the SLP LM2 I ultimately installed.

It's not a direct comparison, but with the Magnaflows you'd never know the GN had a V6 in it (at idle anyway):

Video of Magnaflow catback with stock manifolds and Y. Sounds even meaner with my Kooks LT's and catted Y now. Camera microphone does not do it justice though.

Spintech ftw. Pretty quiet in the cabin but aggressive with a deep tone outside. Louder than Magnaflow (which is what I used to have) and will really snarl when you hit the gas

With stock manifolds and cats the Loudmouth 1 is the best sounding exhaust I ever heard. Borla with no plate installed right behind the LM. All others you can barely hear on an otherwise stock car. I prefer the Borla cause if you add headers/off road Y pipe later on you can tune it to not be so obnoxious. I also like the look of the Borla tips on Trans Ams, not so much on Camaros.

I must agree with this: LM 1 is the best sounding exhaust W/ STOCK MANIFOLDS, Y, AND CATS!

    slp longtubes,slp ORY,high flow cats,and loudmouth 1 with a cam here....
yes it is very loud but i love this exhaust, the only complaint is the y-pipe ground clearance and they could have designed some better looking tips, but im planning on doing true duals later on using the same headers and cats with two lm1 resonators...

Magnaflow here. I like loud. Love it even; but I picked Magnaflow because I plan on installing my headers/ypipe and don't want to buy/tweak multiple exhausts. It's not really 'that' quiet. Not on mine anyway; I'll try and throw a video up here later today, outside even so the garage doesn't attempt to amplify it. It's quiet in the cabin but you can tell it has a deep tone. Can't say I've ever heard it outside but maybe a couple times when I've had the wife get on it for me. The main reason I liked Magnaflow was because it gives a 'refined' sound. Other's are much louder, but they just seem to amplify noise straight up. Magnaflow makes it deep, tones up the sound nicely and thus, once LT's and an ORY are put on, it sounds nasty.

Hooker exhaust. Its somewhat tame, but has a old school sounding roar when you punch it

magnaflow takes my vote on a TA, sounds incredible with LTs and an ORY
The quad tip really finishes it off on a TA
Want a little more noise, GMMG or duals

I just installed a im1 and converted it to a powerflo. I had a magnafow that sounded pretty good, but I needed a little more clearance. Also getting ready to install my new kooks headers.
