The Loudmouth was basicly my first mod.

It is long gone now though. Sounds great with stock manifolds. Add headers and add a ton of rasp and it just gets too loud.
That is why I recommend the Magnaflow catback for most cars. Fairly tame at idle, sounds great when on it though. Sounds good with headers and beyond.

Hey jd2002ss or anyone else with this setup,
I have a question about the kook/gmmg setup. What is the interior sound of that setup while cruising at interstate speed? I just put kooks on with ory pipe and need to change my old flowmaster cb. Any idea if the interior resonance will be as bad as with the flowmaster?

Thats the most expensive setup. $700 for the exhaust and about $1100 for the headers and y pipe. Plus the $500 at least to put them on. Over all its around $2200-2300 for just exhaust. I dont think thats worth it. Sure itll sound bad ass, but is it really worth $2200. Just think if u spent it on other things what kinda power ud get.

You have to pay to play and some like to have high quality in their performace parts. Lets look at the cheap-to-modest priced set-up.
$400 for the exhaust (SLP), $700 for the headers (may come with an ory) plus $500 for the install equals $1700. Either way it is a lot of money and yeah you could list all the mods you could get with the $500 difference but what good is it if you don't like what you got?

I just bought an SLP Loudmouth Exhaust with the additional Loudmouth 2 Muffler for those times I'm out with my wife and she actually wants to have a conversation with me. But, 95% of the time, I'm running the Loudmouth!

Having just installed Corsa on a kooks-ory setup, I find that it pops way too much especially around 3000 rpms at 1/3 to 1/2 throttle. It is the same unrefined sound that I hated so much with open cutouts when not at full throttle. I suppose some would call that "raw" sounding. I am happy with it, just not what I was expecting.

SLP used the Powerflow muffler on both the Firehawk and the opted SS Cammaro, it was the best flowing muffler aside the noise level was the only muffler the passed EPA noise level.

Out of all these comments only 1 for GMMG? I am sure everyone has a taste for their own exhaust system....
I myself have GMMG system and it was costly but well worth it.I did a lot of researching on exhaust systems and I only wanted the best and I believe that to be GMMG. The only drawback that I see are the polished tips but the system itself will gain you horsepower if accompanied with a free flow lid....good luck to ya..
