    ^THIS!

I have 2 (1 for the 02 and 1 for the 98). And while I currently have one on the 02 I did a test fit on the 98 and it fits as well as the one on the 02 did.

For those with SLP lids -- how many versions did they make? I know I have spotted at least one other style at GM Carlisle. Plastic was a different texture and it had raised "SLP" lettering.

I have seen two styles myself.

The original was the SLP Blackwing, which is no longer available. It has NO lettering on it at all and came as a 2-piece design. The lid itself and then the "neck" was a separate piece that is rubber and attached via clamp.

The newer style I've seen is all one piece with the neck being plastic and also at a slight angle to increase clearance and for better fitment with the bellows/MAF.

look for a used on online, if not just go with an SLP lid. Its a hit or miss as far as fitment goes. Might fit good might fit bad, unless it's stock you're never gonna get a perfect fit
