    Best forward-facing child seat?

My daughter is turning 2 in a couple months and will be old enough to face forward in a child car seat, which mean we start driving the 'bird again! (We didn't bother with her rear facing). There are some older threads here, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a newer seat that is safe, won't damage the back seats, and fits well?

I never stopped driving mine with my daughter, especially since
The T/A was roomier than my wifes Celica (before we traded
It for the Fusion), we found a rear facer that the Mini-Cooper crowd uses. The forward facing ones, we looked for ones at Toys R Us with good ratings, test-fitted the choice to see whoch ones fit the best.

I protect the seats by having a towel on the seat bottom and where the seat meets the cushion on the top.

If I am correct your WS-6 has dual front air bags like the Camaro right?......I have always heard its not a good idea to put kids or dogs in a front seat with a frontal air bag? ...Now Im not sure of the age or weight limits before it is deemed safe but im sure the NHTSA ) I think I have the letters right) has some guidelines or maybe even the Highway Patrol in your state?

The OP never said they were putting the child in the front, they said the were looking to buy a FRONT-FACING child seat, the seat still goes in the rear.

WoW you are right... I must have misread ? LS1 should be so proud to have such an outstanding member that's so ready to point out any mistakes another member makes.

I forget which one it was but I used a graco seat when my son was that age. It's a really good seat maybe a tad expensive but it's worth it. I'll ask my wife tomorrow.

I know this has been ages. I'm curious what kind of car seats did you use. I'm also looking for the best forward facing car seat as well. Sorry for being off topic.
I've been looking through the internet and is just so much to go through. Plus the car seat reviews are much help or their are really challenged people out there. Anyways I started researching best car seats and came across this best forward facing car seat. Most reviews are just hype they barely mention negatives and when you start digging through the reviews you get a polarized answer. Any tips or ideas they are all welcome. Which one would you choose from the list?

Honestly, I just used whatever Greco car seat we had. Now she is in a booster model. The trick I’ve found is to put a towel folded under it to protect the leather and cut up some pool noodles to put under the base. That helps keep from deforming the bucket seat.
