    Best fitting replica hoods?

Hey guys I unfortunately think I am getting stuck with a lower end firebird in terms of the fact its a base 00 T/A with 68,000 miles and interior condition is liveable with but nothing special. My main concern is the fact that I want to the change the raptor hood the owner put on to a ws6 ram air styled hood. My fear is that I know many hoods swaps I've seen never fit right and leave huge gaps or end up messing up the fenders/front bumper to fit properly or at least become horrible un-even with one section balanced and the other with terrifying gaps. So I'm wondering where I can get a hood that fits 100 percent perfectly ( if it even exists ) because theres multiple companies that have their own including a nice fiber glass company. Any advice? It's either stick with this TA which is A LOT better condition for only 12,500 or go with a 98 53,000 miles ws6 automatic. Bad selection of firebirds at the moment and either way they both need some work....

Nah, I've seen it a few times. I just do a search function first to see what posts are already out there. Sometimes I find the answer right away. Other times I have to ask to be pointed to a post.

    Hope that helps man.

Why are you "getting stuck with" it? If you want a WS6, wait till you find one. Don't settle, you won't be happy that way.

Don't get the base T/A if it's not want you want, and if you're already talking negative about it and you don't even own it yet, it's not the car for you.

And personally, I like the Raptor hood better than the WS6 hood anyway. Maybe you can find someone who wants one and either trade, or sell it and recoup most of the cost of the WS6 style hood.
