    Battery suggestions

My ws6 has been sitting in the garage for about 1.5 years occaisionally started and rarely driven. It has the same battery that it came with stock in 2001 and I noticed it starting to die a couple of months ago. I went out there tonight to clean it out and my doors wouldnt unlock and after repeatedly pushing the button it unlocked.

I popped the hood and took it out.

My question is. Is there any computer or any other thing that is going to mess up without power being supplied to it?

Maybe the radio theftlock if it was activated, other than that when you put the new battery in the idle will be grumpy for a few minutes until it "relearns."

After I installed the new battery and cranked it, it idled at like 400. After giving it a little gas I went for a ride down the street and its pretty hilly in places and it died several times when I wasnt giving it gas.

Is that an issue for it to die or just a normal thing after sitting a day without a battery?

    No issues here

I'm in the same boat as you. An '01 with less than 7,000 miles. I bought one of those NASCAR Interstate 'long-life' batteries and have had no issues at all.
