Battery disconnect during winter storage......
Hey Guys....
Just bought a new battery as the old one, according to the
heat stamped code on the side, was about 8 years old and
starting had become a real chore with many overnight
trickle charges before a show or day out in her.
Side post batteries are not commonplace here but i got a pretty
good one. Optima were pretty expensive so bought a more
reasonably priced one.
Anyhow.... I have secured a place to store her over the coming
winter but it's a few miles away so my question is, will the PCM
or any other part of the electrics suffer with no battery in the car
if i keep it at home?
As far as i know the PCM will not "forget" anything? Correct?
Thanks guys....

It'll be fine. No reason why you can't leave the battery in the car also and just put a trickle charger on it. If you have electricity where it's being stored.
Sent from my SM-G955U using TapatalkBoost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.
