Automatic shift knob
I have a 2002 automatic ram air trans am and am DYING to replace the shift knob. Does anybody know of a manufacturer who makes knobs that will fit? Of course, if anybody has pictures of their replacement automatic knob, that would be great...

Good write up but, I think the factory T-Handle shifter looks much better. just haven't seen any aftermarket A4 shift knobs that look better than the stock one. Most of the ones that I have seen are tacky and ricer looking. I would totally go for a B&M or Hurst T-handle but they just don't make one that will work with the push button lock.

I used the same type shifter knob but I found mine at the junkk yard in an older grand prix, I also used a shifter boot to cover the rest of the stick. It came out looking pretty stock and I'm happy with it. sorry no pics right now, I should be able to post some up in a few days if you want. If you get one off a used Pontiac you shouldn't have to have the knob turned right like the other dude did.

they have an automatic shift adapter for sale for 26 bucks that allows you to put manual shift knobs onto your A4. All you do is push down on the knob, then go to the desired gear.
Hope this helps

Those look kind of crappy IMO. Plastic made to look like wood and/or carbon fiber. I'd stick with stock, or put some more cash down for something leather wrapped.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
That's acutally not bad looking.
Otherwise, I really prefer the factory t-handle one, I think it fits my hand perfect and is functional.
I really hate just a ball with a button on top of it, which is just one more reason I like the 'Birds better than the Camaros. I HATE the shit knob in the 'maro.

Thanks for the compliments
This is why I went with the shiny top,its fake carbon fiber but it went well with the dash kit (which is real fiber)

I used to make these for Fieros. The number pushes down to shift gears. Works pretty good, and is flush when in park.
