Anyone used the Bilstein/Eibach kits?
I am interested in results others have experienced with the widely available Bilstein sport shock/Eibach spring kit. I know I like the shocks from previous use. I am really interested in any ground clearance issues that may occur. In particular I am planning on upgrading the rear to a 12 bolt for added strength so I will also have a slightly bigger differential casing.
I have used similar shocks with good results in the past but unsure if the lowering is worth the gains in CG for handling and if there are any problems with scraping parts such as the rear end. Right now the car has a slight rake on a flat surface which I assume is normal. Also it doesnt take much to scrape the under chin plastic spoiler on the front of the car. It makes sense to do the rear end and shocks at the same time and if the springs wont cause trouble those as well.
Thanks in advance.
