with the proper suspension set up and wheels/tires combo its not to hard to achieve.

I'm with Mr. Luos... 10's are not easy at all. Why do so many people try to get other peoples heads up by saying they can achieve certain (unrealistic) goals very easily and very inexpensively. I am still trying for 11s, which I know I can hit, just have to make a few minor adjustments with the rear suspension and relearn my car a little.

to achieve 10s, and yes DA and track prep make a huge diff., but still need a bottle the majority of the time. or H/C most bolt ons, suspension, and a hell of a lot of weight reduction. Full weight 3600+ lbs isn't gonna cut it without dumping a shitload of money in it.

And Patsy57, when you asked about stock bottom end with no block work, does flycutting the pistons count as a neg. cause those big CAMS 242+ duration prolly require some flycutting, about the largest you can go w/out flycutting is a T-Rex, maybe slightly larger. But with any large cam I would suggest you do some bottom end work such as ARP rod bolts, learned that through experience from a friend (CAM only T-Rex)when his motor got trashed. And might as well include a rear end, not gonna last long when you start hitting even low 12s...haha.

Rear End is done, its a moser 12 bolt true trac, 33 spline axels with Ta rear end girdle and 4.11`s, The Suspension is UMI Double adjustable Lower control arms, UMI Adjustable Panhard bar, and a UMI Torque are. The tranny is going to be getting a spec 3+ clutch shortly. I really don`t wanna dip into the bottom end, but if I have two I will only to replace Rod Bolts (arp) and maybe just maybe replace my Rods with Forged H beam rods (I understand that is a major week point for our motors). Thats most likely it I am not interested in stroking the bottom end, However I am considering running a 75 to 100 shot of NOS ( texas Nitrous technology has a beautiful kit for our cars that will allow me to do so).

I`m hoping with all that I drop into the High to MID 10`s we shall see....
