The AIR consists of an air pump that pumps air into the exhaust manifold to help with the cats. the EGR recirculates exhaust gas back into the intake. its all emission crap.

i was just replying to the post. I would shoot myself if anyone would think upgrading from 26 to 28 ..go 30+ if your going to mod enough to need it

not that hard...get some blocking plates..around $10-$20..but then you will get a SES light until you get it tuned out....so i will tell you what everyone SHOULD be telling you...get a 01-02 they are better cars all together.

I have one with only 11,000 miles, and It is my baby, it sits in the garage ready for those Nice days.

With a Supercharger and a cat back it makes 476 HP at the tire on a 50/50 mix of 93 and 100 octane fuel.

I bought one in 2002 with 12K and now it has 107K, it's a daily driver and have had no major problems at all. The turn signals burn out often and have had to replace both headlamp motors and both window motors. Other than that, no problem. (Shouldn't have said that, knock on wood!!)
