How can you all let your cars sit for so long. Ive had mine for three weeks and havent been able to drive it at all, im dying. I couldnt imagine willingly letting it sit for six months.

Eh, I've had my share of cars....I'll get excited for some reason or another and put it together in a couple months...but honestly, I don't even care to touch it right now.

Our cars come off the road sometime in October or November and then it's usually right around this time of year that we re-instate full coverage and bring them back out. It is the longest few months of the year...

I use the downtime for maintenance and cleaning. The Battery Tender does its job and they are started and warmed up at least monthly when it is nice outside. I don't know how anyone can have a vehicle like this and not drive it! My wife would love to move south and being able to drive our cars year round is the best argument for it in my book.

    I have a 1998 TA Vert, WS6 Ram Air...All stock

I bought it 1/21/2009, so 3 months ago today. I live in Iowa and have had snow and some shitty weather lately so I haven't had many chances to ride... It had just 18,282 miles on it when I purchased it. Unfortunately it already has 19,150 miles on it. I have only driven it to college one time and the rest has been on the weekends. I really want to keep the miles low, but I'm finding it impossible to drive anything but my TA when the weather is right and I'm at home.

It probably doesn't help that my DD is a complete piece of shit, but it makes me really appreciate the TA....

i WAS SUPPOSE TO DRIVE IT ON WEEKENDS ONLY BUT IS IT EVER HARD TO RESIST. iT IS SUPRISINGLY NOT A ROUGH RIDE AND NO IT'S NOT LOWERED IT'S LOW ENOUGH I have a hard time getting in and out with my bad hip.

I really enjoy this car I have a newer SUV with a Hemi but it has nothing on my TA and a lot of younger kids ask me, what it is? We come from a town of 100 000 people and there's maybe 3 or 4 of us with one of these so a rare bread for sure. I love it I was at the mall and the kids were around my car and there was a new BMW X5 besides my car and nobody was looking at it. I was drooling over the X5 so I guess I'm getting old lol

I won't ever carry anything but full coverage on the T/A. Right now, even the Grand Ma GT is full coverage. Whooping $39 a month.

The only time Im drove it with PLPD was when I was Logging/scanning. I stayed on one very remote back road. When the car does get done, it WILL have FC no doubt.

Mine has been dead for about a month and a half due to a new transmission install. As soon as I got it back, the compressor went out. Two days after I got her back. I was so pissed. It is currently getting a new compressor and a dyno tune.
