I have an '01 Black on black ws6 m6 w/45k miles that i'd consider selling. I'm looking to eventually upgrade (or downgrade if you ask anyone on this board, haha) to a four door 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. PM me if interested.

sorry to hear it. i killed mine the other day, same story wet slick road too fast around a turn. i was only doing 25-30. it was crazy it just let go and started fishtailing, nothing worked, brakes didnt help, gas didnt help, steering didnt help, then the fucking light pole stopped me.

You guys must be driving around on tires with the steel belts hanging out...

I have driven in the rain on DRAG RADIALS at higher speeds and haven't lost control.

This just seems insane to me...

I lost control switching from 1st to 2nd i was at a high rpm and kinda slammed 2nd a little 2 hard is when she gave out I was stupid and careless a mistake that wil never happen again after that. I might have foudn an exact car like that we will see wat happens this weekend.

you can definately do that damage at 40mph....anyone who says different probably just got their license recently....these cars will walk like a mofo on wet roads if you aint careful...

i was referring to op..he says he was doing no more than 40mph.....then had naysayers claiming that 40mph wouldnt do that much damage....the car is practically plastic.....except for the hood, quarters and roof......

I agree with you. All I am saying is, it would be pretty damn hard to "lose total control" of a car only going 25MPH.

I've seen fiberglass doors backed into (probably at 10MPH or less) and the entire door was crushed with a huge hole in it so I don't have any doubt that a telephone pole would do what it did at 40MPH.

Ya kno I admit u have 2 be careless to spin out in any car but I also feel for the hp u get after a few bolt ons with these cars ur puttin 350 360 to the wheels and compared to other muscle cars these things r pretty light it does make it a easier then u thing 2 make a mistake...but ur right in that perspective I got lucky and so did ur son it couldve been a hell of a lot worse.

How is it that everyone seems to always take it in the door on T/A's?
