Amount of oil needed?

How many bottles of gear oil do i need to change out the oil in my rear end? and what kind do i need like the 75W-90 etc. and i drive a 1999 V-6 Firebird thats an automatic. thanks

75W-90
2 Quarts should be enough to fill and have a bit left over...

2 sounds reasonable the guy at the place said 4 and that sounded farfetched, but what kind do you use? im goin with royal purple ive recently switched to them and despite alot of opinions that arent for royal purple i like it

2qts sounds right. As far as the oil it really doesn't matter if you use royal purple, red line, ect... Synthetic is sythetic. I had royal purple in with the 3.23's since that's what the store had and I have red line in it my car now with the 3.73's because it came with them.
