Alternative to ashtray?

The ashtray in the Firebird is pretty much useless for me. I don't smoke and never will smoke and I won't allow anyone to smoke in my car let alone actually ash in my car.

Is there anything available to replace the ashtray in order to transform it into like lets say another item holder for a cellphone or something? If not I think I'm gonna just fabricate a small leather pouch or something and stick it into ashtray slot with the ashtray holder in place.

get a new console top, and glass it however u want.... then if u sell, just put the original back in.

Fan Control Switch, Extra Lights, Nitrous/Purge Setup. Mine has never had a cig put out in it. Brand new after 150xxx.

Yea, I was thinking of switches, but I'm not sure what I would actually put switches in it for. I'm probably never going to add any nitrous kit on my car so what other switches would I possibly need?

Another thought: what about if you had TSS create a nice custom plaque for you to put there....you could just take off the ashtray lid and stick the plaque right over the exposed ashtray compartment....what do you think? If anyone else wants to chime in about this idea, go for it!

Stick a switch pannal in there and hook up a N20 system to it.

We can definately do something for there. kinda like a TCS plaque. HMMMM...i'll have to think about what would look cool in that location.

no it would be cool to have instead of have to pull the fuse when you have to mess with the injectors or fuel pump just have a fuel shut off switch

fan switch or mabe line lock just an idea i would like to see what a plack would look like to. im like you i dont smoke and i would never let that in my ta
