    For All Ls1 Owners

Okay ive had my t/a for about a year now.
Ive been driving it daily for about 5 months now.
I remember when i first got it and how quick it was.
Its a a4 stock with slp exhaust.
Now i just feel like the performance level isnt there at all from when i first got it.
Do any of yall ever feel that way or is it just me?

do you drive it hard all the time? cuz if you do then i could see the power as getting old and seeming like its lost some kick. i never drive mine hard so when i do it feels fresh and like a complete difference

You can definitely get "used to" how a car feels after a while. Are you having any actual drivability issues with the car? Is it studdering? Throwing any codes?

Or does it just simply "feel" slower?

If you had a daily driver/beater, you wouldn't feel that way.

See the thing is that when i first got it i drove it hard but after my wreck i havent drove it hard in like 5 months. Its just sometimes i will kinda get on it and i just feel like its slower. There is one problem i am having. Everytime i get on it i feel like a click in the back where my rear end is. So im scared to get on it because it feels like soethings goin to break.

You just get used to the power. It happens with any car, fast or slow. The difference is, when I put Too Fast in storage for a few weeks or month or so, before it goes into storage I feel just like you say, it doesn't feel as fast as it used to.

When it comes out and I drive it the first several miles, it feels real fast again!

You haven't noticed more tech questions in here than in the actual tech sections.

Well i got the t/a with 58,000 miles on it and the guy said he always babied it and never drove it hard. And i only drove it hard the first month or two i had it. Theres no way my rear end should be going out by now. And i dont have that kind of money to get a new one.

The only times my car has felt slow was due to a dirty MAF. I clean that out and the car feels better. No more worries.
