AIR system in engine compartment
Hey guys, quick question, i read up on this thing before, but is it really necessary to have? I just bought a lid and the damn thing didn't have an AIR hole, which is cool considering im getting a tune tomorrow and he could just take that thing off so my SES light doesn't come on. But is it worth keeping it hooked up and turned off? or just take it all out and throw it in a box?
I want to keep the car all together and such, she only has 36xxx miles on her, i dont want to destroy it and lose some value to it ya know. any help would be appreciated thanks!

AIR system in engine compartment
Also, does it do anything for MPGS? I live in Ohio which requires emissions, but will it make me fail??
