Air box
Whats the difference between the ram air box and the standard air box. They look the same.

The ram air box is raised about an inch or so to line up with the ws6 or ss hood. The standard one is not.

See how the base is raised? That is to line up with the ws6 and ss hood scoops.

so if my lid is broken I can use any V8 lid, right?

Yes the lids are exactly the same, so you can use the regular non ram air lid or the ram air lid on the car.

The one inch rise at the bottom of the box is for the ram air flow from the hood.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k
