    ac problems in 98' TA

my AC compressor keeps bumpng on and off very quickly in a short amount of time. I have taken it to a couple of garages and had several things replaced, but still no solution. I have replaced the compressor, alternator, and the pressure switch. Anybody with any suggestions?

Is the system fully charged with freon? A low charge will cause the compressor to cycle on and off

Well I would think that maybe there is an electrical problem then. Possibly the AC compressor relay or the ground for the compressor might be the problem.

theres a few things to cause that if it has the correct amount of r134 check for a restriction by following the lines for frost forming sounds like to much pressure building the orfice should have also been changed with the compressor

Yep thats true...can't believe I didn't think of that! Good possibility the orfice tube is plugged up.
OP, have your shop do quick pressure check. That would confirm or deny that.

I have a new problem now besides the unresolved ac problem, the car is now wanting to run hot and i believe that it is because both fans aren't coming on.
