yeah, my a/c is actually busted, i filled it up to perfect pressure and it leaked out in matter of hours, it blows, just not cold, yes, i've been riding around ALL texas summer, windows down, no cold air, stop complaining....

someone told me our compressors are a two piece design, which is very inefficient, and tends to spring large leaks, has anyone else heard this? i would love to fix it.....

I dont wanna hear any of yall complain have you ever road in a caimen in Iraq with no a/c full kit(body armor, kevlar, knee pads, elbow pads, eye pro, gloves), probably not kiss my ass lol. Even 1165's(up armored humvee's) without a/c get over it lol.

actually I believe the only time I have ever used the a/c is when I had a female in the car that didnt wanna get sweaty. That would go for the firebird, and now the t/a.

hrm... i thought the ac had a clutch that engages when i turn it on. so unless my ac selector nob is on ac it just freespins robing maybe 1 hp.

the defroster needs the ac to function most efficiently. the ac "drys" the air before using that air to defog, or dry, your windshield. blowing warm or cool wet air on a foggy windshield will clear it somewhat but if its a nasty day it might not be enough.
