    i was thinking about changing my ls1 for a ls7 will it fit or is it wishful thinking

    i saw another thread about this. from what i read it shoule fit, but idk. dont trust my word.

    every ls7 crate engine i've seen has been at least $12,000.you could build a engine with a lot more power for less money.

    how much do you want ha ha? a turbo would really get you movin iv got some goodies on mine making about 425 right now.

    yea i dont have much and make pretty good power
    1999 mbm Z m6/ forged 346, lt's, wires, ls6 intake, sts rear turbo.

    The LS7 is a great motor....
    Makes about 440RWHP in stock form. Not $12-14K power.
    The C6 Z06 makes that motor impressive.
    Of course, they mod VERY well.


    And it will fit. The block dimensions are the same.

    it does seem that you would get more bang for your buck by investing in the engine you have. your going to want more horses on the ls7 after driving a bit. We always want more power!
