You should win IMO how many miles on both cars what kinda shape are they in plays a factor but you should beat him.

I had a 95 T/A M6 with custom 3" exhaust, K&N filter with the bottom of the box cut out and beat a stock 98 WS6 A4 with it.

Then that Ws6 was tired cause i have alot of friends with 94-96 T/A i even had a 96 and none of them can beat me or even hang with me.
My mods are a whisper lid free mods, Headers, catback, lowered, im a m6 with a z06 clutch. and i have friends with almost all the same mods i pull atleast 2-4 car lengths on all of them.
And yes my friends can drive 2 of them have been racing stick for over 4 years now and they can both out drive me.

I'm over by Wausau. The WS6 wasn't tired, it was stock. It was in about 2000 so the car was only about 2 years old. Remember how much the A4 is down already compared to a M6 without having a stall in it. I had a couple of mods and he had none. Generally yes the LS1 will win, but not always.

You should coem down to the track with me and some people from this site and see what our cars can do. Sometime in early july I think everyone who lives close to Union Grove should go and make it LS1 day at the track.

I want to get a track day in. I haven't ran at a track yet and think it would be fun. I know I need to get a helmet and I'm not sure on a drive shaft loop. I guess that depends on the track.
Check this thread out. I was talking with a few other members too.

I'm expecting low 13's and I know with T-tops I need a helmet.

Black on black.- 2001 WS6 M6 (stock)
I ran a lightly modded LS1 A4 in my 95 LT1 A4 w/Moroso CAI. 0-55 deadlocked. 55+ he sped away from me. I now have an LS1. No comparison. About 50whp difference in the same car.

If your both auto you should win, but it'll be close. Just make sure your doing a good distance and the top end of the LS1 should pull you out. My LT1 really perked up with exhaust on it and no cat.
