    98 Formula Dash Cracked

    Hello All,
Been a long time viewer, never had a need to sign in until now.
The sun has done a number on the top of my dash and it is brittle and cracking into oblivion. Anyone know of an aftermarket solution?? Anyone else have this problem??

I know of some people who use an ABS plastic repair to repair the crack then sand it down and blend in the texture. Then take some plastic Krylon fusion paint to blend it all in

the one on my 98 formula recently cracked as well. i replaced it with a used one that i bought from a fellow member on here. i dunno about painting it, i read that someone had theirs professionaly repaired and repainted and the paint started cracking within weeks.

That's true. I'm trying out the fusion stuff and I have no problems so far with it. But a replacement is always a good idea. They're actually not too bad. Check ebay

I got one a few weeks ago from gmpartsdirect for $119 and it only takes about 10 minutes to put a new one in start to finish.
