    i believe the higher end supercars have those...i believe the veyron has one and the 599 (not sure on the 599)

    Yea, and so does porsche. But VW is proving you can use it and make it cheap in the 2009 and 2010 GTI. Yes the sub 30,000 GTI has a direct drive dual clutch aswell. So far the new (auto, really just a manual tranny with two clutches and no clutch petal) GTI is .4-.6 seconds faster than the full on manual 6 speed. And becasue they have no trq converter the drivetrain loss is said to be the same as a manual.
