i think this one would outsell the mustang for the same price, they want to keep it a 35k car to be all optioned out, at least the camaro anyway

I Haven't Taken The Time To Read All The Treads To This Post, But How Certain If At All, Is Anyone Concerning A 5th Generation Ws6 In Production??

If One Is Actually In The Works, It Would Greatly Reduce The Market Value On Our 4th Gen. Cars... At Least Until They Become Classics Or Even Antques... That Would Really Suck.

Look At The Jap Cars... The 90-96 300zx Was Off The Charts Until The 350z Was Released.... And Even More Impressively, Look At The Supra Twin Turbo. The 93-98 Production Cars Are Still Pulling 25-30k!!!!! Thats Incredible!!! But Even That Market Will Plunge If Toyota Ever Makes A Replacement....

No One Can Put A Price On What Our Cars Are Worth To The Individual Owner... We Love These Cars For What They Are And What They Always Will Be, But....just Something To Think About....

    Thanks For Your Time,
    Chris

I hope GM brings it back T/A but I f-ing hate that new front facia. They need to keep that arodinamic look. GM says they are statring a revoluiton ,but if the camaro comes out they are just coping FORD and DODGE. I think they should have the New Camaros for thoughs that like the retro look and the firbirds for thoughs who want a todays look, and not a blast from the past. GM!! IF YOU MAKE THESE CARS AGAIN I WILL BUY ONE. BUT DON'T COPY EVERYONE AND DONT MAKE IT FRONT WHEEL DRIVE.

I don't want to see another T/A made, I don't think they can do much better than their last year of production.

I love ta's with a passion but yea owning an 02' keeps the depreciation rate at a slower pace and I am liking it , but I think they should wait a few years still to introduce the 5th gen. It will make it more worth waiting for... and exciting heh.

My sentiments exactly. I have the last production year of a great line of cars. I don't want that to change. It adds to the mystique.

But isn't that what we thought of Camaro as well? I remember before it was official that Camaro would return, there was an incredible amount of skepticism. You just never know....

I think they can make a 5th gen, and out do the 4th gen design. The 4th gen T/A (02 model) is nice, but there are always improvements. I remember when the 4th gen first came out, I hated them. I used to have a 3rd gen and at that time (late 80s to early 90s) I thought the 3rd gen was the best design and look. But the 4th gen gre on me, and today I can see exactly how the car matured into the lines and design from the previous gen. The same will happen when they release a 5th gen. There is no rule book on imagination and artistry, and the 4th gen is not the be all end all of the Firebird in my book anyway.

I would like to see it come back... but not as a retro. To me, the Firebird, T/A, Formula are cars that should look to the future... not the past. So, to me, a fith gen should be based upon an evolution of the 4th gen product. Maybe flatten the windshield out somemore, lower the roofline a hair 1 or 2 and I would like to see them add some more lenth(Not much though) to the car... to allow for more room in the rear seats. (Let's face it... those seats are for kids.) I would also like to see them keep the pop-up headlights. I just like the way they look. (I like the new C6... but wish they had keep the pop-up's)

    2001 Pontiac TA WS6

I'm torn, I like the new stile, but would like my TA to be one of the last. Maybe just come out with the Camaro, and not the TA, so I can have old and new!
