Its only a matter of time before one gets a 12.5 or better. When the ls1 cars first came out they were hitting 13.7's.

It looks like it was pulled from a lake or something. I can't imagine anyone paying the money to get a car like that and to do that to it.

I think I just shed a tear for a sibling of my baby.

Seriously, how do you look at this photoand not see how sleek, low to the ground and aggressive the ws6 looks. And then pick any other car out?

Went to the track Wednesday. That 5th gen Camaro I always bitch about decided to line up. Cutting in front of everyone as usual.

He either shattered his rear end or his driveshaft. I thought that was funny.

    I agree.
Its only a matter of time before the aftermarket catches up to the 5th gens and they start tearing up 4th gens.

And this is why GM should NEVER come out with another Trans Am.

    Totally agree.

It was bad enough that they made the 5th gen Camaro.

this pic shows how much of a pig the 5th gen is, makes your TA look small.

I still love the looks of our cars more than the 5th gens...

    BLK TA modded 12.2@113mph

2010 ATthe track vs my TA

i HAVE A BONE STOCK TA that runs 13.5 to 13.7 consistently and my buddy 2010 SS manuak runs 13.0 sec flat in the 1/4 bone stock. He is using a programmer now he is putting an exhaust and an intake on it for next summer and slicks hoping to see 12.5 sec

I'm putting in a cam a 3200rpm stall and 3:73 gears so I should be 12.9 area not bad for a $7500 car vs a $42000 car isn't it. Mind you I woukd still take his car over minbe even trade no prolem hahahah

Go with a 3400 Yank, average cam, and some decent tires and you will be DEEP into the 12's.
