3rd Brake Light

I cant find the kind of brake light cover/decal for my trans am. Mine has a crack in it and what the heck why not... ill buy a new one to switch it back and forth

mine has the wedge shape light visible from top and bottom.

any ideas?

I used a template and sprayed over it with crinkle paint to make this Firebird with lightening effect:

Sprayed it with body paint color so when it's off it blend into the vehicle a little better:

What's even nicer it when you take the time to install the sequential tail light mod. I love that mod !!! Blink-Blink-Blink ....

My buddy saw it for the first time tonight ... He was like WTF..... Coooool !!!

... on the sequencing lights ....

I've been running the "Thundercat" sequencing tail lights in my '00 TransAm for a few years now. It looks real nice. I've gotten some comments on it over the years. I've been pulled over a few times, but they've never mentioned that my turn and brake signals sequence, so I'm assuming no one cares.

I got a crappy flasher module for my 3rd brake light too. It's just a turn signal flasher that goes in the rear. It works well though. I've noticed the incidents of almost getting rear ended have gone WAY down, compared to before, and to my other T/A, and other cars I drive. I'm VERY noticeable when I hit the brakes.

It is the before and after, so you can see the difference between stock and not.

I have an older box, which was adjustable with set screws. I don't know if the current version is. I made the video years ago, and have slowed the pulse down since then to make it more obvious.

My apologies for the night version with the sequencing lights. I started in the afternoon, and didn't finish until after dark because I had to find two bulb sockets to install (you'll see in the instructions).

I hadn't thought to do the logo'd 3rd light. I think I may have to do that soon.
