2002 Firebird, just bought. Wanting to buy a ram air hood.

So I just bought my 2002 Firebird. I'm looking to buy a ram air hood for it, but I'm not quite sure what to buy. I've looked at fiberglass hoods but I have no idea what brand names are good nor what quality I should be looking for. I'm in a budget range of $900 for having it completely done. If anyone has some experience with this, I'd appreciate your help very much. The two that I've looked at are these:

pontiac firebird ws6 ram air heat extraction fiberglass hood
98-02 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM WS6 Style Hood

It all depends on what color of car you have. But I like this one...............

A word of CAUTION, where ever you get your hood from, make sure it a GOOD quality hood because if you get a discount hood; it will cost more than what you think to get it to fit on you car correctly.

I'm sure other members on here will guide you in the right direction.

Get a raptor hood. IMO if i didnt have a WS6 i wouldnt get a WS6 hood. Plus the raptor hoods are bad ass!

I'm looking to get a WS6 hood, thanks though. Just need to know if anyone has any experience with what I need to purchase. Like what brand name is good & what quality I should look for.

Well the first link you posted, the hood looks pretty legit and the price isnt too bad. But the 2nd link, the hood looks kinda funny like its raised too high only on the red color, the only two pics look good.

I thought about putting a Firehawk hood on my Formula, after crunching the numbers it was going to cost about $1,500. if not more. I'm not trying to talk you out of dressing up your Firebird. I'm just telling you what I found out.
