2000 ws6 abs problems

ok, heres my problem, the abs light is constantly coming on in my car, along with another light that says " low trac", now,.. im currently getting alot of
steering shimmy and pullin whenever i hit the brakes,...
i hate these damn brakes,.. ive had nothing but problems with em,..
anybody have any insight as to what is going on

does i happen when you down shift? does it happen when you are accelerating from a red light?

nope,.. only when breaking, all other times, its fine,.. but the abs light and low trac. light are almost always on,..

If you have ASR/TCS check the sensors at the rear wheels to be sure they're fully plugged in. Have you had work done on the brakes? If you feel it through the pedal might be warped rotors???????

yes i had the rotors replaced, because that was exactly what i was feeling, ...
it was coming through the pedal,..so we replaced the rotors,.. but now
its the same crap all over again,.. this time, the car shakes like freakin crazy when im brakeing and coming down off higher speeds,.. but it only happens when im braking,..

Have you changed wheel sizes or gears? This may be confusing the ABS.

: ( unfortunately, no i have not, changed wheels or gears, or anything like that, its pretty much they that i bought it, all but the flowmasters.
im tellin ya, this drivin me nuts, i know theres something seriously wrong with these brakes, and i can just see this bill when the dealer gets done with it

OMG! dont' go to the stealership!!! go to a local shop so you don't get overcharged. better yet, find out if there are any local f-body enthusiasts groups in your area that you can join; maybe they have better relations with a particular shop whom they trust can do proper work on our vehicles...god don't ever EVER go to the stealership unless it's the last thing you can do.

i know.. i know,.. i worked in the service dept. for several dealers in the past,.. big rip off,.. my hubby does auto body repair/ paint/ and has done some of the minor things on this car, but the brakes have him stumped too,..
we've replaced pads, and whatever else goes with that,.. and we've even replaced the rotors, but the eay this car is handling, with the shimmying in the steering, while braking, and low trac light on, and the abs inoperable light
constantly coming on,,.. not to mention when braking, you can feel it making
a bucking motion,.. but all of this is only when braking, not during normal driving,.. so 28 yrs as an auto body man,.. this has him stumped.
