    1999 Trans Am

Hey new member here with a quick question. I've located a bone stock 1999 M6 with 159,xxx miles on it.

Asking price is $5k. It's at a local small auto dealership. I stopped to take a look at it and it looks clean. Very clean under the hood.

Leather interior with a few small tears on the drivers side seat but other than that, nothing else. I started it up and it fired right up and sounded good.

I didn't get to take it out for a test drive as I spotted it on my lunch break and didn't have time.

I was just curious to hear y'alls opinions on the price considering the high mileage.

    Thanks.

    Welcome to the site.

Here are a couple of threads that can help while shopping:

$5K is not a bad price but that depends on the condition of the car. High mileage cars these days are not as bad as they are when comparing cars from the 80's on. The LS1 is a tough engine but it does have some quirks that you should know, they are in the 2 threads above.

Price seems fair to me for that mileage, is there a web link to the car maybe?
